Droving, through the lens of the photographer.
The Backtrack to the Outback! View the life of a Drover. Droving livestock over significant distances began in the early 1800’s in Australia.
The purpose of droving livestock was to get stock to market, move between properties or as a source of feed when conditions are poor on the home property. Nowadays in times of drought stock are still put on the Long Paddock to graze and give the country station a break until the season changes.
